I write this unfortunate post as I begin the process of finalizing all the necessary actions for closing down my business–Incentivest, Inc..

I have become a statistic, a statistic of the thousands of businesses each year that, in their struggle for securing their standing in the industry, have fallen to the unfortunate circumstance of closing down.

Regarding the reasons why this is happening, I will only say that it is because of funding and unavoidable structural problems. I have always felt, and still feel that Incentivest would’ve been a…simply what the financial industry needed.

But after two years of working alongside the financial industry–I have simply come to the conclusion that I believe my efforts and ideas are undeserving of this particular industry.

However,

This is not over.

All entrepreneurs have setbacks, and I plan (as I have in every aspect of my life) to learn quickly from this situation and build up my reputation. Awalkinmyshoes.com will remain as the website I intended it to become; a journal of my personal journey to success. However, I will allow this opportunity to help others learn from the mistakes I’ve made.

This blog will certainly be one of the most real blogs on the internet. I do not plan on “sugar-coating” any of my experiences from the business world, I feel as though so many others have for far too long.
Perhaps this is the reason why so many others fail to understand the troubles that come with establishing new businesses. Everyone is trying to maintain this “feigned reality” of what it takes, while hiding the common lessons learned by unsuspecting entrepreneurs.

Not all of us can be those businesspeople who exude success without regression. However, it is those who can learn from their mistakes that will remake their fallen steps towards success..

Final Confessions: As sad as many others may feel, I actually have such relief coming over me.

So finally, I decided to make my blog as its own domain in order to cater to youtube videos I already have established. I didn’t want to continue to make different websites across the web that would have to all individually be recognized, but to only be recognized as the AWIMS girl..

Bear with me in the blog’s current appearance, aside from some major adjustments I have to make to images, everything should be up and running well by the end of the week.

This will also allow me to focus more on my journey as a young entrepreneur trying to get “to the top”, (wherever that may be) and though it is my duty as a small business owner to promote my company, this blog won’t be littered with all the unrelated company advertising seen in most unsuccessful blogs.

This blog will also take on much of the character that will be represented in my 3 upcoming YouTube videos , which should all be done by the end of the december and will be following that general format–I really can’t wait to show you guys so I better get to making those videos!

So far I have almost 1000 views on my videos (in one month), and I’m so excited to get more.

Final Confessions: I wonder how long it will take for my video views to total 2000?
